Chef Li's

STORY

Aspire to work in an establishment where one can flourish into a better chef, gain new skills and absorb new knowledge about the industry. I'm currently enrolled at Johnson & Wales University, pursing a degree in Bachelor of Science majoring in Food and Beverage Service Management. I received a degree in Associates in Applied Science majoring in Culinary Arts. I have four years of experience working in the culinary industry from working as a prep cook, line cook, and an assistant cook.

  Working at Gwynn Valley Summer camp, located in Brevard North Carolina , exposed me to working with farm to table style of dinning. I worked as an assistant cook; assisted employees to ensure meals were being served punctually. Appointed employees with task to complete during shift. Planned menus and produced meals for clients with special dietary needs using the fresh ingredients grown in our personal farm.

     While working with Walt Disney World Resort, I worked as a cook 1. I ensured that every station was within the sanitation standards and HACCP standards. Collaborated with the pastry side, to help create the desserts for each station. Replenished the line and maintained its cleanliness.
